It was the time of the month again with the gang. This time, it was quite an experience that we had with our dinner at Spizzico. The Spizzico pizza was fantastic – we all loved it, so was the dinner set (tenderloin).
Lobster Spaghetti was, however, a bad move. It was not fresh and there was a stench from the meat itself. 2 from our group ordered this dish and both were disgusted by the pure irony of being served spoiled lobster, or you may say, Lobster that had been kept frozen for a very, very long time. This was brought to the attention of the manager/boss and we were given very patronizing reactions.
At the end of our dinner, charges for one of the Lobster Spaghetti was waived. I would have expected both to be waived since they were both bad lobsters on the plates. A further discount on the total bill was given in lieu of the ordeal. I would probably visit Spizzico again solely for its pizza if the manager/boss had bothered spending a little more effort in looking genuinely emphatic or truly concerned that bad lobsters were served by its kitchen. Bad.
Drinks at Brussels Sprouts to soothe the bad experience
Extremely friendly and helpful waiters and waitresses! Fun people! We bought 2 slices of cakes from TCC for each of the birthday babies. “Moe“, a bar tender at Brussels Sprouts, offered to place the cakes in the refrigerator for us. The team of servers were kind enough to prepare the cake slices and decorated the plates with chocolate syrup with “Happy Birthday” and singing birthday songs together (^o^)v Unfortunately, Esther and Michael were busy overtaking each other in the game of Kartrider Rush when the waiters and waitresses started singing. Nonetheless, appreciated your help!!!
Brussels Sprouts has a good variety of imported beers. For a start, we ordered for each of us a glass of Lindemans Framboise; a Belgium Fruit Beer. Not too bad and so very Raspberry. I had my first imported Blonde beer, Duvel (8.5% alc.) after our tasting of the fruit beer. Like~
We had a wonderful time yet again over beers and this time, with questions that made our eyes roll in all directions as well as riddles that cracked our heads over days~
Until our next meet-up, miss you all and thank you for making time!
